The helmet cameras are now old and we as viewers only see dirt ahead. We want to see the rider ride and race so it’s best to get someone to video the rider as he rides. Thats the best view. It’s 2024 so that should have invented a way to have a drone follow the bike at 10’, 15’,20’ and 25’ away and something attached to the rider so the drone knows to follow the bike and video tape the rider.

Hello, your video is good. I have a question. I have a beta xtrainer 300 2023. I recently put a jetting main 162 pilot 38 needle position number 4 That would help me to have a good response from the bike in the mid and low ranges.

I prefer normal bars rolled forward some. I ride a tight Yamaha tho

Question.... i just got a 2018 crf450r and im building it to ride desert but im too light for the front end i weigh around 160 pounds i need to rebuild the forks, should i just let the compression out or would you recomend getting softer springs, and if so what kind of springs would you recomend?

How you can carry so much speed through the rocky sections and not get ejected or destroy your wheels is seriously impressive.

#15- is great! Except in east Tx/Louisiana pine forests, go off trail you may get a nice hidden tree stump in grass to give you a high five.

Tip #14- weight feet peg, good help!!? Ride standup ski’s, it’s all on your feet weight. Some very clean riders rode standup ski’s in past! They’re cool! It’s a real sport! You’re not sitting on it! You need can’t be totally un-balanced to ride them fast! Vs a sit down or a RZR

I’m no pro, but #12, is different for types riding, “lean into turn” is great, motocross style riding, in Offroad tight woods!!! No-no. Great way to plow shoulders into trees, the bike moves under you while you ride more upright. I had to learn this when converting to woods. Feet stay on Peabody stays upright, motocross and some open desert allows you to take up space and use all your body

What camera are you using to catch the footage while riding?

Some of this good advice may relate to higher speed sport riding by experienced/conditioned younger riders. I'm the 'opposite' and am surprised that standing is presented as an energy-saving position. Wide pegs have helped, but (at 65) I find it hard to stand for more than a few minutes. The position itself is draining (IMO), and the jarred-body effect savings may mostly be seen at higher speeds. I'll try to focus recommended foot position but I am also surprised a low heel's taut ham-string risking its injury on an unseen woodchuck-hole bounce.

So one thing I learned from a pro instructor was that pointing your leg out also adds much needed extra weight (from your leg) to help the front tire stick in the corner. I like both techniques and have done both but I find that foot out is far better just because of the weight up front and when in deep ruts.
